What data we collect and why

Only what you voluntarily give us, and always for a specific purpose:

• Product sign-up and onboarding (account details, your website URL, product description, ICP configuration): to build your Company Brain and run your campaigns. This data lives in app.revcognition.com, not on this website.
• Payment data (processed by Stripe, not stored by us): to process payment for the packs purchased in the app.
• Business contact data collected during prospecting: processed on the basis of legitimate interest in B2B communications, always with an immediate opt-out in every message sent.
• Visits to this website measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying visitors.
• Opt-out form (your email and, if you provide them, first name, last name, LinkedIn profile and reason): to stop writing to you and, if you ask and confirm, erase your data (Articles 17 and 21 GDPR). We keep your IP only as a hash, to limit abuse, and your email in clear text only while it awaits your confirmation. Go to the form.

Legal basis

For your account and payments: performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with tax and accounting obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).

For business prospecting: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We only write to professionals, at their work address, about matters related to their company. Every message includes a way to object to receiving more.

Where your data is and who has access to it

This website (revcognition.com) is served from Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare's global network: it has no EU-only region. Cloudflare processes the technical data of each visit (such as the IP address) to serve and protect the page. The website's only form is the opt-out form: it is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, and what you enter goes to the platform (Hetzner, Nuremberg).

The platform (app.revcognition.com) and its database are hosted on a Hetzner server in Nuremberg (Germany).

Recipients of the data, by category (Article 13(1)(e) GDPR), and where they are:

• Hosting of the platform and database — Hetzner, in Nuremberg (Germany, EU).
• Hosting of this website and cookieless visit measurement — Cloudflare. Global network.
• Payment for the packs — Stripe, which processes payment data on its own infrastructure, which includes the US.
• Sign-in and account emails — an authentication provider, in the US, and a transactional email provider, in its European region (Ireland, EU).
• Artificial intelligence models — draft the prospecting messages. US.
• Commercial databases of companies and professional contacts, and email address verification — inside and outside the EU (including the US), depending on the provider.
• Search and reading of companies' public web pages — depending on the provider.
• Sending of prospecting sequences — email sending platform.
• Meeting scheduling and client alerts — meeting booking and messaging tools, to let you know when a prospect replies.

If you want to know which specific provider is behind a category, write to us at olivier.serres@revcognition.com and we will tell you. We do not sell data to third parties, we do not use it to train general-purpose models, and we do not share it with advertisers.

AI-generated content

Prospecting messages are drafted by an AI model from the client's website and from public signals about the recipient's company. The client reviews and approves them before they are sent.

How long we keep it

The minimum necessary. Analysis requests are archived for 12 months so we can respond to any follow-up questions. Tax data associated with payments is kept for the legally required accounting period.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability. To stop receiving emails, just use the opt-out form. Exercising any of them is as simple as writing to olivier.serres@revcognition.com. We respond within 30 days. If you believe we haven't handled it properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Cookies

This website does not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. It sets a single first-party cookie, which stores the language, and Cloudflare may add a security cookie if it detects suspicious traffic. Full details in the cookie policy.

Changes to this policy

If we make substantial updates to this policy, we will notify by email anyone with an active relationship with us. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page.
